Simple joys

Anyone?

Hellooo shoes!

Love never dies a natural death. It dies because we don’t know how to replenish its source. It dies of blindness and errors and betrayals. It dies of illness and wounds; it dies of weariness, of witherings, of tarnishings.

I want you.

10th of the month

For the past 1.5 years, I have been very excited to welcome every tenth of the month. The feeling has always been the same — blissful, fulfilled, grateful, in love.

101010. The perfect ten. I downloaded this photo so long ago. It was perfect. Everything was perfect.

When I started working, happiness was doubled. Every tenth is payday! I felt so blessed.

It was like I have everything in the world.

Hours ago, I just got my jersey shirt for our volleyball game in the office.

I loved this number. I love this number. It means a lot. It meant the world to me.

So now, tell me how to spend this day. I don’t care if it’s payday.

Three things on the second of May

I’ll keep this short and simple, because my hands are shaking and my head really feels hot.

May 2, 2012: Today…

1. Is my first year anniversary in IHG and in the corporate world. Feels great to actually meet new friends here. They are more like a family to me.

2. I saw this dramatic, orange sky which reminds me that life, no matter how difficult, is still wonderful.

3. Marks the end of the road. I fought for love for the longest time. No more. No more.

I was happy in the morning, thankful in the afternoon, and empty in the evening. Still, thank You Lord for all of these. Everything’s gonna be fine, I know.

Tomorrow is another day. I shall start again.

It is not what they take away from you that counts. It’s what you do with what you have left.
